Philips Avent Baby Monitor - Redesign interaction wearable unit concept.

In the course Usability and User Experience Assessment in Design, the project goal was to optimize the interaction and user experience of the Philips Avent Baby Monitor through user experience evaluation and redesign.

The new concept improves many of the initial usability problems of the product and provides security, confidence, and a better overall experience to the user. Through the different stages of the project, the product experienced constant changes and improvements in order to conclude with a redesign that fulfills the needs and expectations of the users.

By solving the identified problems and improving the usability as well as the user-product relation, we fulfilled the goal of creating a better experience and create an instinctive, reliable and easy-to-use concept.

Tasks: User experience research, context-mapping booklets, design and exploration, data analysis, reports, presentations, and graphic design.

Collaboration with: Anne van Essen, Arie de Kam, Denise van Bavel, Po-Hao Wan.
